Getting started with Thought Leadership: Packages
Many people feel confused about Thought Leadership Marketing or overwhelmed about where to begin. And because Thought Leadership is not at all insubstantial as a commitment, it can frankly feel easier to just not get started at all.

This is especially so without a Strategy or clear conception of the thoughts you ought to be leading to best represent what is brilliant and unique about your Company.

Being acutely aware of people’s confusion, and the difficulties in taking First Steps, we have striven to clarify what Thought Leadership Marketing is all about in the FAQs (What is Thought Leadership?) and in various Blog posts (also in the forthcoming SLETL guide – Subscribe here for an Alert when it’s available!) and to explain how Thought Leadership Marketing differs from so-called Content Marketing (this blog post covers this in-depth).

We are also well aware of the frustrating lack of upfront transparency from many agencies, writers and consultants regarding fees and deliverables.
As such, as well as trying to explain why fees can be so wildly disparate and where SLETL lie within this range (again within in the FAQ’s) we have also intentionally created a select number of crystal clear Packages, carefully considered and priced for those wanting to dip their toes in the water without on the one hand too large an outlay or, on the other, feeling their initial steps will not make enough of an impact to bother.

Package or Bespoke?
The benefit of the Packages is that you know exactly what you are spending upfront and exactly what you will receive. All Packages follow the same standard terms (typical within the publishing world) of 50% upfront upon Signature of Agreement and 50% upon Delivery, and the deliverables are, we hope, clear.

We are equally happy to provide a provisional quote for a Bespoke project. The downsides of this are of course that if the project for any reason ends up taking far longer than expected, the ongoing time would be billed. Nonetheless this Option make sense if you are crystal clear on your Project and find no need for Core Concept type work.
